11.30 pm - watched j-dorama "beautiful life". Sis walking abt the house looking restless.
1.00 am - still not sleepy. Set the iron to warm to iron my office attire. while i searched, sis took opportunity to iron something of hers. Bitch! (haven't been in very good terms with her these past several months). i was the one who set the iron up. Felt like shouting at her. Ignored it. continued my search. Felt like wearing something black. Looked for my short black jacket. Didn't find. Sis still walking abt, talking on the phone. Usually she's fast asleep at this hour. something fishy...
1.45 am - just finished ironing. went to bed. Was abt to switch the lights off when i saw my new t-shirt crumpled up in sis' bagpack. Bitch! She's been using my things again w/out me knowing. Took it out and purposely put it on my laundry basket for her to see. Lights off.
2.00 am - that woman still awake! What is she up to? i woke up and made it look like i was thirsty and went straight to the water filter. Walk back into the bedroom (we share room) and saw her bed with her comforter/duvet made up shaped like a person sleeping. She's definitely up to something! Me pretend sleep...
2.05 am - heard her went out the house. I woke up pretend to go to toilet.
2.10 am - went to the living room. Dark. No one. Opened the main door. Heard like someone was surprised. Must be her! Cats were running all over the yard. Pretended to catch the cats. Walked to the front gate. Still no one. Saw her jamaican hat on the floor.
2.12 am - went to take my set of keys to lock the gate. Just to gertak her. Still no one. Might have seen the boy next door trying to lock his gate without any sound or me noticing. Must be her accomplice. note to self : Interrogate him tomorrow.
2.30 am - no sign of her. Which club is she going at this hour? Hehehe... At last i caught her right handed. Good material for black mailing purposes!
2.35 am - decided to sms her to "come back by 2.45 before mum finds out". I know it's such a short time... That should teach her!
2.55 am - she's challenging me! Not home yet! Bitch! Sms-ed her again. 3.15 or otherwise! Decided to ransack her things for my clothes, if any! Urgh! Geli! Dirty clothes all over. Uuu... Letters... Read... Nothing interesting. Something abt her friend having a crush. BORRRIIIINGG! Her diary. Maybe there's something abt her early morning rendesvous... But no latest entry. Where could she have gone to? Noticed her bagpack missing. Uiks?
3.30 am - still, nothing. Getting worried. Remembered something about her having to repeat the semester, skipping classes, she telling her friends she's not interested in studying anymore, and her working at one of the restaurants in KLCC. But all these stories i heard from my i-like-to-tell-fibs cousin sis who happened to be her collegemate and also, have a bit of grudge with my sis. I wonder....?
3.35 am - ransack her bed. Turned over her pillow and found a piece of paper. Not just any paper.
"Mummy & papa,
Now you have one less mouth to feed.
Love..."

That bitch! She couldn't possibly... No.. I don't believe it... No..- what am i to do? mum's gonna freak out if she finds out. What to do? Tears streaking my cheeks...
3.41 am - tried calling my cousin bro. Hoping he could help. Twice. Nobody answered. Damn. I need someone. I need someone to tell me what to do. Yann! It's ringing. No! I got her voicemail instead! HELP! Tini!Dissappointed again... Obviously, no person in their right mind would rather stay up than be slumbering beautifully on their comfy bed at this hour. Except me. There's someone else. but, of course, she's not in the same time zone. "call me asap", i sms-ed her. Call please call. And indeed my phone rang and i poured my heart out to Liza.
By this time, my eyes were already starting to swollen. Mind you. These tears aren't for my sis. what i worry most is my mum. She was just discharged from the hospital last week becoz of stress. Now, this thing happened. That bitch is sooo selfish!!! I told liza what had happened. I don't need much, just need to know what i'm supposed to do! Should i tell them now or wait til morning? She advised me to wake only my dad and tell him. Really missed having her here!
4.02 am - i did what i was told. I pulled him out of his room and handed him the piece of paper. He looked at it and for a while i thought i saw a pang of guilt on his face. Coz u c, what my sis wrote was actually a quote from his sms to her the nite b4. But he remained calm and asked what time she went. And then, he went back to sleep.

Huh?Did i miss something?

this is his daughter, i'm talking about. His ONLY daughter. My step sis. Shouldn't he be worried or any of that sort?

He's sleeping, while i'm still writing this for the blog. And it's already 5.40 am.

am i overreacting? Or is it bcoz i'm PMSing? But, my sis has just ran away from home... what should I have done?

TV personality Normala to wed royalty.... (shocking!)

Monday February 9, 2004

TELEVISION personality Normala Samsudin was featured on Berita Minggu’s front page, admitting that she received a marriage proposal from a member of the royalty in an east coast state.

The former host of TV3’s women’s show Nona said she did not want to hide the proposal because it was a good thing.

Normala, 40, however, refused to comment on the date of the wedding, adding that it was up to God.

The weekly said the admission also quashed rumours that Normala, 40, had secretly married a VIP from a northern state recently.

Quoting sources, it said that Normala ordered five wedding dresses from her favourite boutique a few days ago.

“Another source said that if she accepted the proposal, the wedding would be held btween next month and June,” the newspaper added.

ps: It was told that they have already took the akad. The reception would take place between now and the month of June.

Where am i?

MM Focus: 'Let them entertain publicly'
V.Vasudevan

Bukit Bintang MCA chief Datuk Dr Lee Chong Meng has called on the authorities to allow transvestites to entertain publicly.

He reckoned that giving these transvestites a chance to perform publicly will help them earn an honest living.

"They will not have to turn to vice and other illegal activities as is the case now. Most of them hang out in back lanes and are involved in seedy activities," he said after attending a Chinese New Year open house in Lorong Haji Taib here.

Lorong Haji Taib has gained notoriety as a hangout for the city's transvestites over the last five decades.

Dr Lee said City Hall is looking into turning Lorong Haji Taib into a second Bintang Walk where both sides of the street would be lined with cafes, bistros and eateries.

Lee said at least the talented among the transvestites could be trained to perform the way some of their counterparts are doing in Thailand and Singapore.

"I went to Pattaya recently for a holiday and the transvestites there are part of a vibrant healthy entertainment industry. They perform in theatres and tourists pay a minimum of RM100 for a two-hour show." He added: "My aides tell me that at night the roads leading to Lorong Haji Taib are jammed as people bring their friends to see the transvestites." This can be avoided if the transvestites are trained and provided with the chance to perform in public.

"I am sure the tourism industry can include these shows into the itinerary for foreign tourists," he said.

Lee said the performances of the transvestites need not be raunchy.

"They don't have to be sexily clad. They can dress in the baju kebaya, cheongsam or sari. It should be good clean fun."

I don't know why, but eversince I read this news, my fingers have been itching to tell my opinion of it. I know this is quite a sensitive issue, and some of you might dislike me for it.

Eversince the issue was brought up, there has been so many talks, and surveys conducted to know what are the community's opinions. They were asked 'Should the transvestites be acknowledged as a community?'. In one of the TV News' poll, about 60% said no, while the remaining agreed. Personally, I don't think they should be acknowledge as a community.

As one of the so-called Muslim countries, I am quite disappointed that this issue was brought up. Don't get me wrong. I don't loathe transvestites. I do befriend them. However, to acknowledge them as a community, is far from my mind. I don't know... I think if this happens, there will be more transvestites in the public, which is wrong.

We should refer back to our religion (although I'm not really a warak), be it Islam, Catholic, Christian, Budhist, or Hindu. In the Quran for example, there's only the mention of 'male' and 'female'. There's no such thing as a transvestite. God only creates two genders.

Well, we've heard many excuses given by people like them (esp those who are muslims), about why they become a transvestite in the first place. "Walaupun saya dilahirkan seorang lelaki, tetapi, di hati saya berjiwa kewanitaan." [translates : Eventhough I was born as a man, but I have a woman's soul.] Na'ah. Not good enough for me. Don't they know that what they're saying is like they're blaming Allah? It's like as if, Allah have made a mistake. Puh-leeeezzzeeee... Allah is Almighty. Allah never makes even one mistake!

Those who have agreed to acknowledge them as a community justified that they are gifted. Some of the transvestites are doing well in i.e. the fashion industry and are very good make-up artists. If that is so, it's not because they're transvestites. I believe they have worked their butts and heads off to get to where they are now. So, acknowledge the individual, not the 'gender'.

Credit should be given where credit is due.

On the other hand, I do sympathize with them. I've heard of stories where these people were bullied and beaten by those who dislike them. This is the wrong way. Why can't, instead of acknowledging them or beating them to death, we try to bring them back to the right path? Try to educate them more especially on the religious and spiritual aspect of life.

Is it right to acknowledge them as a community just because you'd like to boost the tourism industry and thus, the economy? No, I don't think so.

Is it right to acknowledge them as a community just because you'd like to minimize the number of 'maksiat' or crime invloving them? Whaddahey! If that's the case, why don't we acknowledge the drug supplier and addicts, while we're at it? Legalize everything. Then, nobody would be doing anything illegal. Then the crime rate would decrease.

Acknowledging them is not the way to do it.

We're in Malaysia, not Missouri or Europe!

say cheeeeesseeeee.....

All day long, I have been surfing the net, trying to find the best (and affordable) digicam there is in the market. Seeing that there's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many range of digicams, with soooooooooooooooooooo many features (and, obviously all manufacturers claim their products are the best!), I decided it was better to look at those review sites i.e. Amazon.com, zdnet, pcphotoreview.

To add more headache to my search, these sites has their own ranking of the best digicam based on consumer's rating and experience. One user says this, another says that....urrghhh!!! My search is prove to be sooo leceh! Why can't buying a digicam be as easy as A-B-C?

And, I also read those 'Tips and Guide on Buying A Digicam' for a beginner like me (first time buying a digicam). Some explanations can be really technical but very helpful. One site that don't really throw lots of jargons at you is www.digital-camera-buyers-guide-and-tips.com. Or, if you'd much prefer to have a lesson in DIGICAM101, PC Magazine provides you with just that, while Digital Camera HQ provides you with a helpful 8 common digital camera shopping mistakes.

Sony's DSC-T1 Cybershot & Olympus' Stylus 400 Digital

Actually, from the first time I decided to buy a digicam, my eyes was already set on Sony's DSC-T1 Cyber-shot Digital Camera. It is soooo thin and I just LOVVVVEEEE its very big LCD viewfinder. The model is like a credit-card version of all the digicams. Ooooh la la! Yet, I don't want to be a compulsive buyer and thought it's better for me to do some research first.

From 9am to 5pm, all those sites, all those digicams, I've decided that I prefer these, in no specific order whatsoever:-
1) Olympus Stylus 400 Digital - All-weather (I saw a billboard somewhere claiming it won some award)
2) Sony's DSC-T1 Cyber-shot - Large viewfinder, very slim
3) Minolta ???

When I'm done shortlisting the suitable digicams, I have to narrow it further down to the one I can afford (and like).

decisions, decisions.... *SIGH*

ps: To tell you the truth, I'd prefer those bulky digicam with all those advanced features. But, they can be very expensive, not to mention their heavy weight! );

mariah carey coming to kl

yeup she's coming.

i'm not really excited about it though. if it was during her "No 1s" time, i would be very excited coz i liked her soo much at that time. those time, she looked so down to earth inspite of her 'diva' status... but eversince she 'morphed', i find that her 'spotlight' is bigger than her singing, if you know what i mean. she can sometimes be so raunchy! well, what more can i say?

then............................now

and bcoz of her infamous sexy image/attire, i just knew that there'd be so much fuss about it. but, as other artists (e.g. Linkin Park), her manager have agreed that Mariah would conform to the 'no-sexy-attire' rules for her concert in both KL and Jakarta. in addition to that, her concert's tickets are soooooooo expensive, with the cheapest is RM60 and the most non-affordable, RM389. gila!!!

she'll be at the Mandarin Oriental during her stay here in KL and it's been informed that she'll be having her very own butler. WOW! Did Micheal had his when he was here? just wondering...

but nonetheless, it's nice to have another megastar having their concert here in KL!
