any idea?

today, i forgotten to bring my purse to the office. i only realised it after i have safely park the car at the office basement. and guess what i realised when i walked into the department's door? hint : look at the picture below!

lucky i had a pair of shoes in the office. *phew!*

this is the first time this has happened to me! maybe i was distraughted. of what? i'm not sure myself. or maybe because i was still sleepy?

lately i have been forgetting or sometimes mixing up things (memory)...i seriously need some sort of brain or memory stimulants. LOL!!!

one more thing. i sent Jean's cat, Pudding to the vet yesterday. the evening before, my mom sms'ed me and told me Pudding might have been in a fight and that her body is wounded. MY MOM PUT HER IN THE CAGE, SO THAT SHE WONT' go missing again... I thought it's not that bad lah, right? only yesterday i managed to look at the wound, and OH-MY-GOD!!! the wound is so b-i-g!!! if u didn't know it, u thought that u'r looking at her organs!!! almost half of her upper skin was torn off and the wound has dried up. and you know how wound becomes when not cleaned immediately? and the smell!!! *URGHH!*

i called Jean for the direction to the usual vet she goes to, but since i couldn't get hold of her, i went to mine instead. yeah, it's costly!!! but i do believe they do a good job.

so, anyway... i told the doctor what might have happened to the cat. but he said, the wound might be caused by someone throwing hot liquid (oil/water i don't know) to the poor thing! (I told tini, if i found out who did it, i might want to return the deed - catch my drift?). and the cat needs a very long time to recover and they might even have to do Skin autografting or that sort - ala plastic surgery. that is very costly, the doctor told me...

even the estimation for 3 days boarding and medication comes up to max rm600. *sigh*

OR, there's another option - which is, to put her to sleep. *sigh*

honestly, if it was up to me, i wouldn't do it. up to this moment, 2 of my previous cats - tomyam and shiro - have been put to sleep, and i don't think i want to do that again. i know that the cat migh or rather is in pain. but Pudding can still walk and she still have appetite and all. if she's dying, let it be of natural death. not of euthanasia!

since jean is the owner, i told her to decide. and she decided on euthanasia. as for me, i'm still contemplating. i haven't given the 'green light' to the vet, yet.

do you think it's worth the money to save a life of a cat? if it dies, then it's meant to be...

i've taken the picture of the wound. it's a bit graphic. so, if you think u can't bare it, don't look.

ps: called the vet just now. he says the status of Pudding is 'guarded'. meaning she has 60-70% to survive. need to keep the wound from being infected.

apart from all the weddings i've attended last weekend, I really don't know what else to write in the blog. guess you could say i'm having a writer's block. not that i'm a writer or anything. the only thing i do write are i.e. change control forms or system manuals. boring stuff! but, i do write entries for this blog. so, in a way i could say i'm a writer, aren't i? but i'm not actually a writer. uuhhhh... *confused*

so confusions aside. what do you blog about if you have nothing to blog about?

2004 is almost coming to an end. usually during this time i'd be writing what was my achievement - note the 'was' instead of 'were'? bcoz i don't usually achieve much! - for the year. and i'd also be thinking of what are the resolutions for the year to come... but, i'll put that on hold for next week. maybe i'll post it on the 31st itself.

speaking of which, here's Zach's new year's resolution:

right now there's a manager in my office dropping da bomb to one of the problemsome vendors. serves them right!

i think she's been at it for almost half an hour or more. i'm sure the phone is getting hot by now!

o btw, i've been thinking. something on ettiquette. if u go in the toilet e.g. at the office, and it so happens ur colleague(s) are also in the toilet area(not the cubicle itself laaa) do you normally acknowledge them? or do you just go in and do ur business? besides, the point of going to the toilet is the 'business', not to socialize, right? hmmm... *ponder*

i'm back at the office - safe!

it's a wild jungle out there! esp for a 'kancil' like me...

it's been - what? - 2 years or so since i last drove.

i fumbled several times during my drive back to the office just now:-
1) the car's oil outlet is on the left, but i stopped at the pump for righties. the pipe couldn't reach the outlet. i had to restart the car and parked closer to the pump. urgh!
2) the car jerked several times on the road. i was in gear 2. i guess i didn't press the oil enough.. double urrgh!
3) i had to say sorry to the car behind me several times. and later, i noticed them putting their distance from me... triple urgh!
3) well, sooner or later, it was bound to happen. the car engine died - ONCE only, ok! LOL!!! Lucky it was at the traffic light.

eventhough i played out the route i was going to take over and over in my head, i misplanned. i took the route that happens to have the most cars and with the most traffic lights! heheheh...

shit happens!

but, i managed to arrive at the office - although a bit late - but safe and sound.

after this, it's going to be better!

ps: the kancil i drove is manual.

Located in southern France, the bridge will connect the motorway from Paris to Barcelona at the point where it is interrupted by the River Tarn, which runs through a wide gorge between two plateaus. Lunch time today, i'm going to my Ayah's house to take the Kancil.

Last Friday, I decided to call him up and ask his permission. I asked to use the car for the month since my aunt, who I usually take a ride with to work, will be going overseas a lot this month. To tell u the truth, I could actually just take the LRT or bus. But me being me, just too lazy to wake up early... hehehe...

At first I was a bit unsure whether he'd permit it or not. Since Abg Mike (My step sis' husband) sometimes uses the car. Luckily, he isn't and Ayah said yes!

Now I can drive to anywhere anytime I like. Yeay!

I feel a bit nervous though. It's been quite long since I last drove...

after "ada apa dengan cinta", "30 hari mencari cinta" and "eiffel...i'm in love" i've finally become hooked to indonesian films. after a colleague asked me "Any new movies?" - as if lah i'm a movie producer - i thought, "a'ah... how come there's no more news about any new indo-movie?"

so, at my own liberty, i surfed the net and the record shops... and found this - "Brownies". I noticed it because the OST is done by none other than my fav band - GIGI

Rasa penasaran terhadap brownies inilah yang membawanya pada sosok Are dan akhirnya mampu berpaling dari Joe. Joe sendiri digambarkan sebagai laki-laki yang kebarat-baratan, modis dan perayu. Beberapa kali Joe mengkhianati Mell dengan perselingkuhannya dan dengan jelas dipergoki oleh Mell. Tapi berkali-kali pula Joe mampu mendapatkan maaf dari Mell. Sedangkan Are digambarkan sebagai seorang bohemian yang memiliki toko buku dan kafe brownies buatan tangan sendiri. Cenderung anti-sosial dan menentang kapitalisme. Sisi yang sangat berlawanan dengan Mell yang berkarir dalam bidang yang menjadi simbol utama Kapitalisme yaitu periklanan. Background yang bertentangan ini entah kenapa tidak dijadikan konflik besar dalam jalinan ceritanya. Mell seolah langsung luluh karena kemampuan Are dalam membuat Brownies, dan Are-pun langsung luluh pada, apalagi kalau bukan kemolekan tubuh Mell, karena tidak ada point tertentu yang menunjukkan penilaian Are dari sisi lain. next week i won't be in the office. Have to attend a 3-days-course somewhere in TTDI for 3 days.

The thing finishes at 5 everyday. So I am thinking of going for the 6pm jazzercise classes. But not sure yet.

Also, more open house this weekend and that Anuar and Dayang Show in Planet Hollywood. Want to go if it's on Sunday night. Otherwise, I'll go the week next.

What else. Oh, wedding invitations.

Tomorrow will be going to Ipoh for a colleague's wedding with the rest of my colleagues. This will be my first outing with them. Not sure why I haven't done it before... I'll post the pictures in my fotopages if i decide to take any.

2) who would ever be comfortable living in this messy room? not me! it looks as if it's been hit by a hurricane! i don't even think it's possible to find anything (anything clean that is) in this kind of mess!!! urgh!

i'm finally gonna make some changes in my life. i'm finally moving out. although it hasn't happened yet, but it will and i'm making sure it will.

why did i decide this way?

i've drawn my final straw. since i have no say whatsoever in my so-called 'home' and am getting no respect from any of my family member, i thought might as well don't have any. or at least, if not that drastically, maybe i could just give them the silent treatment. act invisible. be invisible.

don't get me wrong. it's not i don't love them. it's because i love them too much that it really hurts when they do these things to me. i know they talk bad about me behind my back. make faces at me even if i turn my head for just a second.

and my mom, whenever people ask about me i.e. what do i do and so on, her expression, eyes just doesn't light up the same way when people ask her about her other daughter. hell, she doesn't even have to wait for them to ask to talk about it!

sometimes i feel really expandible. i'm only wanted when the issue at hand involves money.

this feels weird but i think i've talked about this a thousand times before. i'm like a broken record. yes, that's what i am. broken.

and it's so weird how i'm comfortable pouring my heart out in this blog but not with people...

my father? i rarely see him. before, it was because he works shift at the airport. so, we rarely have common time to meet. now that he's retired... he's staying with his other family. although he have had them for many years now, i still am not sure how the wife is towards me. these past two years especially. they rarely visit. she rarely comes out of the car even if they did. my dad sometimes visited me secretly. is that necessary? the secrecy i mean.

all these things made me more and more determined to live on my own... learn to be more independent.

right now, as i'm writing this entry in my room, the only thing that i can see cares about me is my cat. she's even putting her hand on my arm...

*SIGH*

one more thing, this afternoon i was asked to meet my deputy director. she told me, as a result of a directive given by the top management, the 'cgpa' of the staff needs to be pulled lower to fit the 'bell-curve'. by 'staff' she meant those with lower 'cgpa'. and by 'staff' she meant me also. she told me the director had tried to persuade the mgmt to make some exception but to no avail. she wants me to know it directly from her instead of my boss. during the discussion she kept apologizing, but i told her it's not hers or the director's fault. and i appreciate what she has done for me.

so, effective from tomorrow, my 'cgpa' has dropped 0.15 points, which is a lot to me coz it would determine whether i'd get my upgrade next year. normally, people get upgraded by their 2nd year in the company. by may next year, it's gonna be my 4th...

looks like no upgrade for me next year.

oh well. the house renovation could wait another year.

how is possible for you to take two steps forward and three steps back? where do u end up at?

Were you born to shop? Maybe it's the allure of new things or the fun you have along the way. Or maybe you enjoy shopping to relieve boredom or stress. Either way a little retail therapy seems to do the trick. We wouldn't be surprised to hear that you headed to the mall for sandals and came back with a new winter coat. It also wouldn't surprise us to find some clothes in your closet that still have the price tags on them. A seasoned and enthusiastic shopper like you knows that things are here one day, gone the next. So if you like it, it's best to buy it when you've got the chance. And you'll definitely use it or wear it… eventually.

As for gift giving, you might have a stash of goods that you picked up at some point that you can draw from. If not, it's probably not that much of a stretch to think that you wouldn't mind going shopping for something. What's not to love about shopping and the thrill of the hunt? It's fun, exciting, and a great way to bond with friends. And if you find a few things for yourself along the way — even better!
