I'm gonna go do my MyKad (ID) today. The JPN people are here. This is ssoooo much easier than lining up at the JPN's outlet.

I have to pay fees or rather 'denda' for not changing my ID when i was 18.. heheheh... there goes some more of my money!

;P

finally!

yeah, i've managed to update my fotopages!!!

$$$

i'm not feeling very well today. feeling bloated and tired.

yesterday i indulged in another 'pamper-meself' session. I had a Thai pedi-massage at City Square. i never had one before coz i'm not too comfortable letting people touch my feet yet alone massage them. i have my reason. but, i didn't know why, yesterday i just took the risk and closed my eyes, literally!

how was it?

ok lah... for a while it felt good. though not sensing any difference right now.

in thailand, these type of services are offered at shops located near area that requires you to walk a lot e.g. bangkok and haatyai (for shopping), and Phuket (walk by the beach?). we'd usually go for a massage after a long shopping session. it's a Must for my mom and aunt and sometimes their friends. like i mentioned before, i never did...

oh yeah, i've received my 'kutu' collection although not from everyone. so, yesterday i used 1/3 of it to pay for my credit card - while i have the money. the balance of the 'kutu' also to pay my other 2 credit cards. man! it's such a burden being in debt. this is only credit card. I wouldn't know how i would feel if i were to buy a house or even a car for that matter! and just now, i finally handed over my loan application. i'm gonna use it to pay for all my credit card debts. this way it would be easier. i'll just deduct the payment for this loan through my salary and wouldn't have to worry about going to the bank to make the payment and missing the dateline.

did i mention my mom wanted me to make a loan to buy a motor for my brother? yeah she did. i don't actually mind. but after consulting several people and looking through the conditions of application, i don't think i can. for one thing, i have to have a driving license for motorcycle. and another thing, one that's a bit self-fish (i know!), if i were to buy it now, i'd have to wait for another 5 years should i want to buy a car for myself.

i know my brother's gonna be dissapointed with this. he have gone to several places to look at prices. i want to be more providing, but, as someone told me, it's not my time yet to do that. My other father's still working and i might say makes more money than i am. although not much, but, he still does.

the purpose of buying the motor is for my brother to move around when he gets into the uni. but, i think having a motorcycle would incurr more costs rather than taking the shuttle/walking to classes. hey, i managed to get by without any car or motor when i was in uni! kids these days, they want things to be easy for them!

i think this is at most my second entry about money...

pearl of the orient

i went to penang last saturday. it was fun! the company event went smoothly and organized. everyone taking part arrived safely and unharmed. the hotel room has a great view of the Penang Bridge and Penang itself. oh, we even received complementary passes into their fitness center!!! I didn't pass the chance and went with Reena to use the jacuzzi, sauna, and the steam room. must do it again when i have the 'mullah'...

the one thing i remember best about the trip was the night when we took a ride around penang. there was 11 of us and we took the two police pajeros. we went around padang kota (they're currently renovating the place - so there's no more stalls by the seaside ); ) and gurney road where the crowds usually go to hang around or go clubbing or sit in the dark corner with their partner for some snogs. so, imagine the look on their faces when they saw two police pajeros passing by - slowly if i might add. some stop doing what they were doing (ehem!) and acted innocent, some just watched the pajeros passed by while some even turn to their friends and pointed at us. maybe they thought there were gonna be somekind of police ops to be conducted that night! unfortunately we didn't have time to go to Ferringhi! imagine what would happen if we did. hehehhe... >;P

now i know how powerful it feels to be a police officer - just from taking a ride in a police car. but not if you're a convict lah!

anyway, the whole trip was ok eventhough some of us were sick due to the long drive. the day we left, we dropped by Chowrasta for about 1/2 an hour to buy somethings. I didn't manage to go to the teller to take out my money, luckily, my aunt offered to lend me some. i only bought a few things as i didn't know what to buy... we had lunch in one of those Nasi Kandar restaurant (i'm never a fan so i had 2 fried tiger prawns that costed me rm10!) in Penang before moving off. Apart from the money i spent at Chowrasta and for the two tiger prawns, everything else was paid for! This is the type of getaway I like!!!

I have some pictures, which I took while I was there, I'd like to share but until now, i can't seem to access fotopages.com!!! damn!

Oh yeah, a note to myself : there's no Baskin Robin's outlet at the R&R Tapah going back to KL.

ps: i was supposed to work on that weekend but i went ahead to Penang without telling my boss or even taking a leave. i just went. just my luck, she wanted to discuss something with me on that day but found out i wasn't around. she couldn't contact me as i have left my handphone at home! coming in on monday, she sent me an email asking me to see her (ERRK!) but until today i haven't. i just deleted the email and acted as if i didn't received it. However, I'm not off the hook yet!

2046 : another one by Kar Wai

some say '2046' is the sequel to 'In the mood for love' as the movie's 'look' is the same as the latter. Coming to Malaysia in Oktober - I think I'll go watch it.

2046 Plot Description
1966, when Chow Mo-Wan (Leung Chiu-Wai) left Hong Kong, he was carrying a secret with him, until, in Singapore, he met Su Li-Zhen (Gong Li). She reminded him another woman, a woman from his past (Maggie Cheung), whose name was also Su Li-Zhen. He followed the Su Li-Zhen of 1966 everywhere she went inside a casino. She salvaged him from self-delusion and refused to go with him.

Chow Mo-Wan returned to Hong Kong alone and on Christmas Eve, he met Lu Lu (Lau Kar-ling), another woman he knew, and now had no memory of their relationship in the past. Chow discovered a familiar number at the hotel Lu Lu stayed in - 2046. Room 2046 was filled with memory of the days he had with Su Li-Zhen, and trace of the good time Lu Lu spent with her boyfriend CC (Chang Chen).

Chow Mo-Wan moved into Room 2047. He met two daughters of the hotel owner (Wang Sum), Wang Jie Wen (Dong Jie) and Wang Jing Wen (Faye Wong). Jie Wen just started to learn what love was and Jing Wen's relationship with her Japanese boyfriend Tak (Kimura Takuya) was not allowed by his father. A new tenant, Bai Ling (Zhang Ziyi), moved into the hotel and started seducing Chow Mo-Wan. When she finally fell for him, she realized he no longer had any feeling for women.

Chow Mo-Wan starting writing a new book, titled 2046. In the story, a train departed for 2046 and people boarded the train would recover their lost memories. No one wanted to leave 2046, except Tak. In the book, the real life Wang Jing Wen became a senseless robot, who offered Tak great joy he had thirsted for. Her existence was the biggest secret of Tak.

In the year 2046, the train still routinely departed for 2046...

today's a boring day and it's gonna be a boring weekend (excuse me for the negative attitude this week). why?

well, today, neither of my friends have updated their blogs. so, my source of reading or rather, gossips are almost none existance. lulu, due to her company strict internet access policies;the-sinner, or ciktin as i call her, is on MC today. But right now, I think she's lining up for the 'Princess Diaries 2'(PD2) free ticket give-away at Sunway TGV for the Sunday Matinee. I'll tell you about this later. jean and the rest? not sure what happened to them...

another reason for the day being a boring one, is because for 3 consecutive days I had to look at my boss' face. and starting from next week, i have to see her every thursday morning to report on this one project's progress status. I have gone through 6 days without having to report to her on anything before this, and they were blissful!!! nowadays, things are never as good as it were !

*SIGH*

anyway, this weekend i'm going to Penang for some company-related event. The event itself is gonna be interesting, but the idea of me missing my chance to hang out with the girls at Anugerah Era 2004 and watch free movie with them makes me feel apathetic towards Penang!

You see, the last time the-sinner and i watched free movie was for... i can't quite recall which movie it was...anyway, it was early this year. so, yesterday, in Malay Mail, i found this coupon for 2-free tickets to watch PD2 this sunday but to be redeem today between 11am-12pm at TGV Sunway. I immediately called the-sinner, since she's thinking of taking MC today (heheheh... hence, the name 'the-sinner'). About 10 seconds into the call, I remembered about Penang and disheartened me.

Nevertheless, being the true-friend that I am *wink* I told Tini about it. Not sure with whom she's gonna go with though.

and then, there's the Era thingy... this year, i am into award-ceremonies (last 2 years it was those racing events at Sepang International Circuit e.g. MotoGP, F1, Japan GT, Merdeka Millenium Endurance). I've gone to the main i.e. AIM, Media Hiburan. And i thought of having a feel for what it's like at Era - not to mention Sakti and Adam of SO7 is gonna be there!!! (Hope they'll win...)

Looks like I just have to accept the fact and move on...

ps: I seem to have problem going into my fotopages...

differences b/w u n boss

10 things i hate about you

1) the way you always say "lain kali, in the future..."
2) you're so damn slow in understanding things
3) you ask the same question(s) eventhough you have asked it before
4) you're so stubborn
5) you want people to just "yes boss" to things you say - but we NEVER do
6) you drag your subordinates to meetings to explain things to people, coz you don't know how to explain it to them or rather coz you don't know a thing about it
7) but, you act as if you know e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g
8) you're so good in delegating that you even delegate people to do things that are supposed to be your job in the first place
9) you give people high blood pressure
10a) you always find other people's fault and point fingers at us. but yours? - never
10b) you'd force people to finish up work until late, just because you have to stay late and you'd be the only one in the office.
10c) yet, no matter how much i hate you, you'd still be there forever - unless i quit my job and find a greener pasture
10d) i'd hate that due to me bitching so much about you, one day i'll become exactly like you! Arggh! Touch wood!!!

so, there you go, 10 things i hate about my boss... more to come in the future! LOL! I've lost respect for her about 2 months after being assigned to her unit.

Strong Enough
by Cher

I don't need your sympathy
There's nothing you can say or do for me
And I don't want a miracle
You'll never change for no one
And I hear your reasons why

Where did you sleep last night?
And was she worth it, was she worth it?

I'm strong enough to live without you
Strong enough and I quit crying
Long enough now I'm strong enough
To know you gotta go

There's no more to say
So save your breath and walk away
No matter what I hear you say
I'm strong enough to know you gotta go

So you feel misunderstood
Have I got news for you
On being used, I could write the book
But you don't wanna hear about it

'Cause I've been losing sleep
And you've been going cheap
And she ain't worth half of me it's true
I'm telling you, that

Come hell or waters high
You'll never see me cry
This is our last goodbye, it's true
Now,I'm telling you

dandruffs

Today, I received a call from a user - a nice-lady - asking an update on the status of the problem she previously reported to me. Honestly, I told her I haven't done anything.

You see, the thing is the system (web-based) used is installed in our side of the server and is being used by users outside of the vicinities. They require installations of IE and Java Plug-in in order to use the system. For the past 2 months (i think) this particular company have been having this problem; everytime they try to go into the web site, the Internet Explorer would display an error message "IE has conducted an illegal operation (blablabla) ... Insufficient Memory".

The last time she called, she passed the line to their IT Staff. I informed him that the problem could not be from our side as the other users seem to have no problem using the system. Everytime I tried to suggest possible ways to solve it, he kept on interrupting and in a way, dissing me off. He explained that they have tried everything but the problem still could not be resolved. Hel-lo! If you keep that blabbering-mouth-of-yours shut for at least 1 minute, maybe we could find a way out of this problem.

Maybe it's just me, but after several minutes talking, he sounded a bit nasty and he was really getting on my nerve. I tried being cool. Besides, he is sort of a "customer", so I shouldn't act nasty just because he is. Lastly, I grunted and told him "OK lah. I'll look into it". And I hung up. The entire day, I didn't pick up any calls, knowing that the-dandruff would be trying to contact me to solve the problem. He was like those dandruffs on your scalp - really itchy and irritating, and just when you think they're gone, they keep coming back. I thought - if he's so smart, then go and solve the problem himself.

So, when the nice-lady called me back today and told me that she might want me to speak with the-dandruffs, I directly told her that I didn't want to speak to him.

Nice-Lady : "Why? Why wouldn't you want to speak to him?"
Me : "I don't know. He just sounds irritating."
Nice-Lady : "Oh, he's like that. And he's the best person to talk to about this."
Me : "No lah, if you want to, you could ask him to contact my other colleague"

I know it's my job to help these people with any technical matters of the application system. But, this time, i'm giving myself an exception. Let him handle it on his own. It's more his job than mine coz he's working with that company. Not me. I know I'm not being professional, but the h*** with it!

>;{

ps: come to think of it, the nice-lady it's not that nice. she kept calling me "kakak" (elder sister) or sometimes "Puan" (madam) despite me telling her i'm younger than she is and i'm still single. i'm not sure if she's just being respectful - or plain blur!

nothing to blog abt

friday had dinner at kg baru with aunt, cousin and a friend.
missed out on "Survivor Vanuatu's" first episode );

saturday had our second annual dinner in Nikko.
didn't win anything coz not eligible for lucky draw - won for first annual dinner.
watched "Queer Eyes" - first after almost 6 weeks.
bathe in the tub - for almost 1 and a half hour.. hehehe...
slept over at the hotel room

sunday, despite having no money in my savings and last rm50 notes in my purse, i bought 2 sets of Powerpuff Girls pencils for kid's birthday presents. Once in a while, ok lah ma...
at night, watched "Extreme Make Over" and wondered again, why those people wants to put themselves through all those pains...

next week, going to penang for Treasure Hunting. MAYBE. Depends on my mood.
But much prefer to go to Anugerah Era, if the-sinner managed to get the tickets.

;)

stressed out!!!

i've been trying to solve this problem for the past two days.I'm trying to insert this statement into sql server database but i keep on getting error messages
i.e. Error: Error converting data type varchar to numeric. (State:37000, Native Code: 1FB2)

It's a very straight forward INSERT statement but why does the error keep on occurring?
e.g. insert into table_name( field_with_date_type_data) values ('22/12/2003');
actually there are more columns and values involved, but due to confidentiality, i can't put it in here...

I've been trying to find the solution(s) in the web, but until now, no success.
now, i'm so stressed out!

it's a simple task!!! y can't i resolve it????
arggghh!!!!

silly me!

Ever forwarded surveys to your friends and hoping they'd responds so that you could read how they answered? Sure we all have!

Here's one of those surveys I sent to them in 2003 (I think!) and how my friends responded.

I knew this would come in handy one of these days!!! ;)

Silly answers to silly questions, aye?

"dah jod-doh..."

yesterday, i watched '30 Hari Mencari Cinta'.

It's about 3 single girls (Keke, Olin, Gwen) who challenged and made a bet with each other on who'll be the first to be able to find love within the next 30 days. Winner will be the house boss for one year, while the losers would have to be, in basic term, the slaves - doing all the chores and paying all the bills. Each tirelessly went through series of dates with "Mr Wrong"s - thanks to their common guy friend, Bono - even after telling him specifically what they want in their "Mr Right". Finally, each managed to find a guy, by their own effort. Kiki's Brian - a sexcraved maniac; Gwen's Axel - an I-could-care-less-about-my-hygene rockstar wannabe; and Olin's Eric - an F4-Ken lookalike gay. Determined to win the bet, each girl overlooked these obvious bad-traits and even almost costed their friendships.

the movie was so-so. i wanted to watch it bcoz it's the first movie with music arrangements from Sheila On 7 and Eros even have a special cameo. ihiks! o just a little sidetrack, they are nominated for two awards for this upcoming Anugerah Era 2004. Only Adam and Sakti will come down representing So7 for the award's show.

Back to the topic at hand...

It is true, isn't it? Love affects friendship.

I have seen it happens several times. In my case, it's not the jealousy of not having one too that costed my relationships with those friends. It's just that they're soooo blindly in love, sometimes they can't even see that their love-interest are not right for them. So, who am I to determined whether they right or wrong, you might say. But, I'm not acting on first impression alone. It's the stories (i.e. how the bfs treated them the same bad way on several occasions) that they themselves told me that made me think that way.

And as a friend I feel the need to advise them. To get them back on the right track. Or so to say. Also, living in a free country I have the right to say what I want. OOOh... what a lame excuse! Ignore that one! Only Westeners use that kind of excuse! Ooooh, judgemental!!!

Anyway, it's up to them whether or not to accept my advise.

Tapi, nak buat macam mana kalau "dah jod-doh..."

'Survivor Vanuatu' Revealed: Men vs. Women!

When "Survivor" returns on Sept. 16 for its next go-round, a whole new batch of castaways will be stranded on Vanuatu Island, located in the remote waters of the South Pacific. A familiar twist (think "Survivor: Amazon") has been revealed too -- this time out, the men (Lopevi Tribe) will take on the women (Yasur Tribe)! The one familiar face will be that of host JEFF PROBST, who will be there to issue the Rewards and Immunity Challenges, as well as head up the Tribal Councils. Read more...

women vs men

tak nak!

that's the motto for the stop-smoking campaign being conducted by the government. It was stated in the news that for the campaign it costed around nth-teen million to encourage malaysians to stop smoking. Following the recent Budget2005, the price of cigarattes has been increased by another rm1.10.

But I don't think that would stop the current smokers. And I think this campaign would fail just like any other efforts taken by the government to promote healthy living/lifestyle i.e. Rakan Muda.

Honestly speaking, I don't like smokers. I don't like being around them and try to avoid being around smokers. If they're too desparate to smoke, I would really appreciate if they'd do it somewhere else.

I do know people who smokes. Friends, families. Some of them openly admits that they're smoker, while some may not. But people say, you could identify if one smokes or not by the color of their lips. Easily!

For those who have been smoking for a long time, you could see that their teeth are yellow or worst black. And worst still, they'd have bad breath! Please, if you smoke and have bead breath, "Go away! Get away from me!!!"

I don't understand. Why do you smoke? Is there any benefits from smoking? Wouldn't it be healthier for you NOT to smoke?

In
Go Ask Alice!, she states,

"People smoke for lots of different reasons. Some do it because they think it looks cool. Others saw their family members smoke and see smoking as "a grown up thing to do" or that it makes them seem mature. Some people like the feelings commonly associated with smoking - relaxation and stress relief. A lot of people, women especially, smoke because they think it will help them control their weight. Many continue to smoke cigarettes not because they want to, but because they're addicted and are having trouble quitting. And still others, some perhaps like you, smoke because they feel pressure from their peers and are concerned that they won't be accepted if they say no; or, they say yes to something that is offered to them because they want to seem gracious."

So, you say there's not much harm to it bcoz you're only a social smoker. Well, read this!

One of my life principe is not to smoke and I'm still holding on tightly to it.

My father's a smoker too! And I don't like it. He have been smoking for at least 30 years. Although he has tried so many times to quit, he always fails. Now his front teeth are discolored, chipped and everytime he speaks, he does it by covering his mouth with his hand. He coughs all the time! And it's bad... He's not a young man anymore you know. If the doctor was to cut his chest and takes out his lungs, I'm sure even the doctor couldn't recognized it.

For those just starting to smoke or is a smoker, quit while you can.

Believe me you; smoking is terrible to your health!

Kites are Scary

Today I bought my Dog a t-shirt that says, "I love Bitches." I've never purchased pet clothing before and I really don't wanna be known as a guy who dresses up their Dog in booties and hats and shit, but this shirt made me laugh out loud. It's even funnier on him cause it's like a tight wife-beater. He looks very buff as he brags to the world about his love of bitches.

I also bought a new toothbrush. I'm very loyal to my toothbrushes, so it's always hard for me to make the switch over to a new one. Me and the last one have been through so much together, but alas his time had come. He looked kind of pissed at me in the garbage can. Maybe I'm reading into it, but his bristles had this judgmental frown to them. I swear I heard him mumble something to my contacts. It was faint and admittedly I have a guilty conscience, but I'm pretty sure I heard him say, "It's on tonight... let the floss and the Calamine know, we're gonna take him out in his sleep." But maybe I'm just being paranoid, they were probably just talking about something else
entirely...

last night i got the sudden urged to read back my old diary. i just felt like it.

i started writing a diary since 1993 but not every day. i think i even skipped a year. i think keeping a diary is more fun than having an online journal. why? because there are so many things in there. not just entry. i like to put in things i.e tissue paper, jogathon's cloth number, paper cut outs and so much more. i can even sketch and scribble.

most of my recent (last) entries were about my sort-of-there-but-not-there relationship with a guy-next door. let me share some of the not so secret-and-embarrassing entry with you...

24th May 1998; 12.50am
"I'm presently in confusion. It's about a guy. He's 22yrs old- working - currently staying in the house in front. Macam nie...Lepas habis Farewell Dinner tu, about 2-3 days after I came back home, it happens. [my sis]told me... "Abg AB kirim salam...""

4TH jUNE 1998
"-Dengan bangganye (dan terkejut!) aku telah ajak AB ke PPP...:o Dan dengan senangnya dia cakap "JOM!"...
-Nak keluar junction, terserempak ngan kereta Mummy. Nasib dia rabun!"
comment: [actually, i think she saw me - errk!]

28th Dec 1998; 2.10am
"Aku kebelakangan nih asyik terpikir pasal AB. Pasal patut ke aku continue? Aku tak tahu lah! Aku terpikir balik pasal benda2 dulu. Yelah! Nak try to understand, try to figure out whether he likes me or not.... Aku pun tak tau kenapa. Resah semacam."

2nd Dec 1998
"Masa naik tangga, balik dari beli makanan berbuka tadi, aku bagitau Liza yang aku rasa macam ada something yang tak bagus je akan jadi bila AB balik nanti ... Betullah, kan? Kalau tak takkan aku resah je..."

Last entry about him was in 1999. We continued until 2000.

Well, this AB person is now happily married with I think at least 2 children. Do not know his whereabouts. The last time we contacted each other was somewhere in 2001, when I started working here and after his wife gave birth to their first child.

*smile*

ANYWAY!

I also found this entry. Something about my name analysis...

"The influence of [my name] makes you positive, self-assertive and independant. You can be very impulsive and [something]ful when opposed and act without due forethought and discretion. Hence you have many bitter experiences and generally rather unsettled conditions in your life, with little progress and financial accumulation. You can't tolerate any domination by others or circumstances that restrict your freedom and independence. You are inclined to make changes abruptly in your life as an escape from such conditions. When annoyed/offended, you can be very candid and sarcastic in your speech. Many disruptions in friendship and association have thus resulted. You often overlook, in dealing wih people, the little things that signify grace and courtesy. Verbal [something] is difficult for you and you can be rather forthright in situations requiring delicay, eventhough it's not your intention to be. The intensity of your nature would cause you to suffer in the senses of the head, as well as digestive problems. You also would have a sensitivity in your solar plexus. The extreme intensity of this name causes mental turmoil, major stomach operations and accidents of a serious nature."

Wow! Now that I've read the analysis again, some of them are true...

Apart from my entry, I've also did ask my friends to 'contribute' something; found two entry by my college roomate, CikLi and the always-there-in-my-room Uya (no pun intended).

From CikLi and Uya

After I found out that my Diary were read by someone else, I decided to stop. The diary is now stored somewhere safe from prying eyes. I hope!

love is made for u and me

last weekend has been mostly about l'amour...

I've finally watched the epic movie Puteri Gunung Ledang (pgl) and I liked it (minus those flying-action scenes, which to me is absolutely ridiculous!).

PGL is among the few Malay movies that I watched in the cinema. Others, mostly Shuhaimi Baba's films and one or two movies starred by my idols. I think they were worth my money. However, apart from MNasir being casted as Hang Tuah, I'm not quite sure whether it's the storyline or the idea of Gusti Puteri and Tuah's unrequited love that caught my interests.

Prior to watching pgl, I tried my very best to avoid from listening to any self-review (be it positive or negative) or summary from those whom have went to watch the movie. I decided I should give the first ever rm16 million-malay-epic story a chance. But why didn't I do the same for any of those Yusof Haslam's or Yusry-Erra movies? *shrug*

Mean while, on Friday, it was about 'taegukgi'. A korean movie about brotherhood. I shielded my view during most of the show. But, yes tini, i did cry. But during the last 10 minutes or so only! It was sad to see how a brother is so passionate to the extend of going crazy thinking that he didn't manage to save the brother he tried so overly to protect during the war.

The last war movie I watched was 'The English Patience' - it was sad indeed and i understood why it won the Oscars. If I'm not mistaken 'taegukgi' was also nominated for best foreign movie in this year's Oscars.

I never liked war stories if most of the movie involves bombing, and shooting and amputations (eww!!!). Not to say this one is different from the rest but put aside those bombing scenes (which during one of it Tini laughed so hard that I had to tell her "Shh! Ko sorang jer yg gelak tau!" Sorry girl, I had to ;P ), I would highly recommend this movie to others.

So, what else?

Oh yeah! I watched J-Dorama 'Puraido' yesterday until 5am this morning. I started at 8pm and was totally determined to finish all 8 cds at one go! Hence, I didn't come into the office this morning! ;P
Takuya Kimura is a very good actor although I could see some similarities between the characters he carried in most of the J-dORAMA THAT i'VE WATCHED. I know there's a film-term for this thing, but I can't remember it.

I'm not gonna put my review. Enough said that it is also about love and passion and of course, 'pride' and that you should go and watch it. Just remember to watch it during the weekend or holiday-eves. OK?

ps: I have downloaded the second theme song of PGl by Mnasir entitled 'Bagaikan Sakti' but there seems to be difficulty in playing the mp3. Anyone knows where I can get other copy(s)?

"mati katak"

remember my entry on the dead rat? well, we finally managed to remove it and the smell is finally gone and i can have my room back.

but the thing is, the stinking smell was not of a rat. it was actually...

one of my cats!!! GILMORE.

yeup!

yesterday evening i called my mom, while i was on my way to meet tini at klcc, she broke the news to me. she sounded sad but i didn't feel any emotion.

weird that we didn't noticed him missing. but the day before while i was feeding the cats and i head-count them, i actually thought one of them wasn't there. i couldn't figure out which one.

how could we not noticed it? he died under the cabinets in the open storage area (at the back of our house - sort of lah). my mum and lil' bro found him - already bloated and stomach full of maggots! (eww! i think i'm being too descriptive!) we couln't even figure out what cause his death. maybe should call CSI - not Miami though...

Poor thing...

Sorry, Gilmore. For letting you "mati katak".

Jangan Pernah Berubah
by : Marcell
Masih ada perasaan yg tak menentu di hatiku
Bila ingat sorot matamu yg kurasa berbeda
Janganlah terjadi yg slalu kutakutkan
Beribu cara kan ku tempuh
Ooo Cintaku..
Kumau tetap kamu
Yang jadi kekasih ku
Jangan pernah berubah
Slamanya kan kujaga dirimu
Seperti kapas putih dihatiku
Takkan ku buat noda
Pejamkanlah kedua matamu
Bayangkan aku disisimu
Ooo..Janganlah terjadi yg slalu kutakutkan
Beribu cara kan ku tempuh

The Prettiest Thing
by : Norah Jones Album : Feels Like Home
Prettiest thing I ever did see
Was lightening from the top of a cloud
Moving through the dark million miles an hour
With somewhere to be
So why does it seem Like a picture
Is hangin' up on someone else's wall
Lately I just haven't been myself at all
Heavy on my mind And I 'm dreamin' again
Like I've always been
Way down low I still know
That the prettiest thing I ever did see
Was dusty as the handle on the door
Rusty as a nail stuck in the ol' pine floor
Looks like home to me
Now I'm dreamin' again Like I've always been
Way down low Thinkin' of the prettiest thing
Dreamin' Dreamin'

Which That '70s Show Character Are You?

I did this test in tickle/emode just now. And the result is...

Donna
The girl next door? Not exactly. Like Donna, you've got a feisty and independent spirit. You're no shrinking violet. If somebody's giving you a hard time or stepping out of line, you're not afraid to stand up for yourself and tell it like it is. A competitive character, you can keep up with the boys, no problem.Don't get us wrong. With your no-nonsense approach also comes a sharp sense of humor and a sexy edge. Your brains and brawn only make you that much more alluring to your fans. So keep matching wits and wills with the rest of the gang. You're sure to bring on the laughs and the good times. Groovy!

hmmm...? but, am I 'donna'-like?

is there a Pied Piper in the house?

i've been sleeping in the living room for the past 2 nights. why?

the area from my room to the kitchen stinks. but, my room's the worst!!! there's a dead rat (I hope it is infact a rat) on the roof but we couldn't find a way to go up there and throw it away.

it stinks so bad i'd get a headache everytime i enter the area.

i'm afraid that if i sleep in my room, the wind would blow those creepy-crawly maggots in and onto my bed!!! EEEEWWWW!!! it happened to my sister's once.

urghh!!! i hate those damn rats!

you should see the size of those rats. maybe one day i'll take a picture of one of those pests and post it her. they're the size of a two-months old kitten.

fortunately, I have cats at home.
unfortunately, I have cats at home.

my long lost pen pal

last Friday 3rd of September was Chris Blumme's birthday. I think he should be about 21 this year, I guess.

Do not know what had happened to him or how he's doing right now. But, hopefully life has been, is and will be good to him.

Happy Birthday, Chris!
